Episode 16 - Creative Storage Solution for Small Spaces

Living in a tiny place with little to no storage and need help with creative storage ideas? This was the question posed by one of the members in my Wannabe Minimalist Facebook group. She is concerned about how to store her stuff in her small home when she has little closet space and no basement. Instead of only replying to her, I thought it was advice we could all learn from.

Here’s are some of my best ideas for creative ways to store your stuff when you have no closets. But, these ideas were not just pulled out of my head. No way! They were tied and tested when I was a property manager and worked closely with top-notch interior designers to model out several small apartments.

I guarantee there are some ideas here that you have NEVER heard before. So jump on in.

This episode of the Wannabe Minimalist Show will help you discover:

  • what kind of furniture is best for small homes

  • why I think doors are some of the most underutilized space and what to do about it

  • creative storage ideas for the kitchen so you can clear off your counters

  • how paint can help with your storage dilemma

  • and the coolest idea the designers came up for storing extra chairs (hint: I don’t make you wait to the end to find out)
